Private Rooms
The Sociedad Bilbaina, founded in 1839 for cultural and leisure purposes, currently hosts an intense hospitality, business, social and family activity, thanks to its privileged location, its magnificent facilities and the proven professionalism of its team and services.
The clubhouse, declared a Cultural Asset with the category of Monument, perfectly combines history and modernity and, all this, makes it an ideal setting for a wide variety of celebrations.
The private rooms of the Bilbao club, the heart of all its activity, have different capacities and styles that adapt to the needs of each user. In this way, they become the perfect space to celebrate, among other events, weddings, baptisms, communions, lunches, banquets, congresses and meetings of all kinds.
Banquets
The Sociedad Bilbaina has a select range of custom menus and catering services to hold banquets. In the case of celebrations with a custom menu, the entity only charges the price of the menu and there is no additional charge for using the room. Most of the menus include a pre-appetizer (standing) served in an annex room.

Meetings
The private rooms of the Sociedad Bilbaina have complementary infrastructure and services capable of guaranteeing the success of various professional and business events, such as: boards of directors, general meetings, work meetings, press conferences, conventions, presentations, conferences and exhibitions .
The meeting service of the Sociedad Bilbaina includes an imperial style table (or single table) with capacity for 36 people and the necessary papers, pens and candies.

Main Hall
This spacious and welcoming space, the central nucleus of the headquarters, is an ideal place to celebrate social and cultural events. The living room has a tall fireplace and is paneled with oak to a height of almost three meters. In addition, it is decorated with copper elements and numerous leather sofas.
Regarding art, the room has several works by Losada that, as is usual for the painter, represent idealized scenes from the bourgeois Bilbao of Romanticism. The pieces are well integrated into the walls and, thanks to their thematic and aesthetic unity, they give this place a great decorative interest. You can also enjoy, among others, a delicious gouache by José Arrue entitled Regatas en el Abra.
For all these reasons, the main hall hosts family, business and professional lunch numbers and cocktails. In addition, it should be noted that the banquets on the second floor use this room for their previous aperitif.

Hunters at the North Station and On the Terrace represent images of the new industrial society of the Biscayan territory in two different leisure activities. The first shows his taste for hunting sport, and the second shows what happened on the beach of Las Arenas.

Bailén room
On its walls hang two of the main paintings in the Sociedad Bilbaina's collection, both of significant dimensions, which were commissioned from their authors to decorate the current headquarters, inaugurated in 1913.
One of them is Aurelio Arteta's Eva Arratiana, conceived with her usual symbolist interest, which exalts the rural Basque world and its ethnic and labor aspects through its resounding figures and characteristic motifs, as well as the peculiar aspects of the landscape. All this makes it a true early masterpiece of the painter.
The other painting in the room is by Ángel Larroque, entitled Vuelta de romería, it is a festive and light work, full of dynamism, thanks to an accurate drawing and bright color.
